Update: Jun 30, 2015
TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has named the Hanoi Daewoo Hotel as one of the best hotels in Viet Nam in 2015 based on positive feedback from users worldwide, the hotel’s room rates and excellent service quality.

It has been an honour for the hotel to receive a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor, Hanoi Daewoo Hotel General Manager Stephen Alexander said, adding that the hotel will continue delivering first-class services and uniquely-designed facilities to both local and overseas customers.

TripAdvisor described the Hanoi Daewoo as a luxury business hotel with charming interiors and breath-taking views of the city. The hotel features the largest room inventory in the city with 411 tastefully decorated rooms and 33 suites, it said.

Since it opened in 1996, the hotel has hosted a number of top world leaders, including former Polish President Aleksander Kwasniewski in 1999, former US President Bill Clinton and First Lady Hillary Clinton in 2000 and Russian President Vladimir Putin in 2001.
