The southern province of Tay Ninh has unveiled plans to turn the Ba Den national tourist site into a competitive tourism destination.
For years, Ba Den Mountain in Tay Ninh Province has been frequented by pilgrims during the first lunar month, with most of them visiting the pagoda and temple complex on the mountain. Conquering the 986-meter-high mountain, the highest in the nation’s Southeastern region, might be a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has approved a master plan to develop Ba Den (Black Lady) Mountain national tourism site in the southern province of Tay Ninh into a special spiritual and cultural site by 2035.
The Ba Den (Black Lady) Mountain tourism complex in southern Tay Ninh province welcomed this year’s 1 millionth visitor on February 20.
Ba Den Mountain is 986 meters above sea level, the highest in the nation’s southeastern region.
