Remains of 1,000 year-old Cham temple towers discovered
The foundations of a Cham tower complex have recently been unearthed in Qua Giang 2 Village, Hoa Phuoc Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, after excavations on a 300m2 area which lasted nearly a month.  The excavation was jointly conducted by archeologists from the Ha Noi University of Social Sciences and the Humanities (USSH) and Da Nang’s Museum of Cham Sculpture.

EWEC Fair opens on 15 August
The 2014 International East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) Trade and Tourism Fair will take place from 15 - 20 August at the Da Nang International Exhibition Fair Centre on Cach Mang Thang Tam Street.  The city’s Trade Promotion Information Centre is making the preparations for the forthcoming event.
Da Nang photos contest launched
An artistic photo contest and exhibition, which has “Panoramic Views of Da Nang” as its theme, is running until 30 November.  The contest has been jointly organised by the city’s Union of Literature and Arts Associations and its Artistic Photography Association.
