A total of 100 photos, selected from 4,740 entries to the 2015 Viet Nam Heritage Photo Awards, went on display at an exhibition that opened at the Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture in the central city of Da Nang on November 9.
The photos are part of the activities to mark the 10th anniversary of Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23) as well as to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Museum.
The photos, chosen from entries in both single images and photo sets, were submitted to the fourth Viet Nam Heritage Photo Awards organised annually by the Viet Nam Heritage Magazine under the Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Association.
This year’s contest drew the participation of 537 photographers including 9 foreigners.
The exhibition aims to popularise a Viet Nam of hospitality and beauty among international friends, while raising public awareness of promoting and preserving cultural and natural heritages.
On the occasion, a photo exhibition on the theme ‘Binh Thuan Green Convergence’ was also held with 53 photo sets and 495 photos on display.
The exhibition will run until the 2016 Lunar New Year in February next year.
