Da Nang City announces a programme to attract wedding tourism in 2026
Update: Jan 27, 2026
The Da Nang Department of Tourism has recently introduced its 2026 wedding tourism programme, a strategic initiative designed to establish the city as a premier destination for international and domestic weddings.

An Indian billionaire couple’s wedding at the Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort and Convention Centre.

Accordingly, couples who hold their wedding in Da Nang, stay at local hotels or resorts, and register at least 10 working days in advance will be eligible for attractive support incentives. Eligible weddings will also receive coordinated media coverage, including the promotion of selected images on the city’s official tourism channels.

The programme features four support tiers based on banquet size and overnight stays, including 30 - 50 guests, 50 - 100 guests, 100 - 200 guests, and over 200 guests.

At each tier, couples receive corresponding benefits, including city souvenirs, congratulatory and thank-you cards from Da Nang City’s tourism sector, customs clearance support (if required), fresh welcome flowers, and welcome hashtag boards at the airport or hotel.

For weddings at a medium scale or above, the programme also provides complimentary experience tickets to local attractions, traditional Vietnamese art performances, and a special “Our Day” couple’s package for a future stay in Da Nang.

Large-scale events may receive additional support, including professional wedding videography, pre-event site inspections for organisers, and celebratory fireworks.

Overall, the programme enhances the appeal of wedding tourism and reinforces Da Nang’s image as “The Place Where Happiness Begins” for both domestic and international visitors.
