On January 11th, the Vietnamese Embassy in China in coordination with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Chinese Ministry of Culture organized a photo and painting exhibition week titled “Vietnam - Endless beauty” in Beijing, China.
The event is among the activities to mark the 66th anniversary of Viet Nam - China diplomatic relations (18/01/1950).
The opening ceremony was attended by General Secretary of the ASEAN - China Center, Yang Xiuping; representatives of Chinese Ministry of Culture, and a number of ambassadors and their spouses in Beijing.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Dang Minh Khoi, who initiated the exhibition, highlighted the fruitful and growing cooperation and ties between Viet Nam and China.
Mr. Dang Minh Khoi emphasized that Viet Nam and China have co-organized a number of cultural, art, educational, sport, tourism and people-to-people exchange activities that strengthen mutual understanding between the two peoples.
The photo and painting exhibition week will showcase paintings by reporters and photographers Nguyen Viet Thanh and Hoang Hai Thinh, and painter Dang Phuong Viet.
At the exhibition, visitors will have a chance to see a peaceful Viet Nam with beautiful landscapes, unique culture and friendly and simple people.
The exhibition promises a new year with cultural cooperation activities between Viet Nam and China in particular, and between the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and China in general, promoting friendship among all the countries' peoples./.
