The event was an opportunity to promote Thai Nguyen Province’s tourism potential as well as a venue for tourism enterprises to cooperate and develop new regional tourism products.

The opening ceremony took place from 25-26 April with a series of culture and art performances, tea culture exchange and visiting tourist destinations in Thai Nguyen such as Nui Coc Lake tourist site, the Museum of the Cultures of Viet Nam's Ethnic Groups, Dinh Hoa ATK Special National Historical Relic Site, Tan Cuong Tea Culture Space, and Thai Hai Reserve Area of Ecological Houses-on-stilts Village.

Recently, Thai Nguyen Province has made big efforts to upgrade tourism infrustructures, historical sites and tourist attractions, promote local tourism products and strengthen tourism cooperation with other provinces. Furthermore, Thai Nguyen has successfully hosted various important cultural and tourism events which significantly impressed visitors, contributing to tourism development of Thai Nguyen.
