Hai Phong establishes Tourism Department

(TITC) – The People's Committee of Hai Phong City has issued the Decision No. 666/QĐ-UBND on establishment of the City’s Tourism Department.

It was established on base of the tourism management function separated from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, which is now renamed the Department of Culture and Sports.

Accordingly, the Tourism Department is a specialized agency under the City’s People’s Committee, responsible for consulting and implementing tasks related to state management in the field of tourism, tourist product development, effective use of tourism resources according to the law.
