The statutes will be transported by horse-drawn carriage in a ceremonial procession on the morning of June 10 through the city of Da Lat, according to the announcement by the curator of the Museum.

It will depart, said the curator, from Tran Hung Dao Street and travel to Xuan Huong Lake, with a brief respite at the Da Lat Palace, before proceeding on to the Summer Palace.

As part of the festivities leading up to the event, large models of the King and Queen will be on show in Hai Phong, Hue, Dak Lak, Nha Trang, Da Lat and Vung Tau from June 8-12, inclusive.

These displays will provide citizens throughout the nation the opportunity to view images of the last royalty and reflect on the historical significance of the Nguyen Dynasty and its impact on modern society.
