An exhibition on Thailand’s culture and arts opened in Ha Noi on July 28, marking the 40th anniversary of Viet Nam-Thailand diplomatic ties.

It also introduces Thailand’s unique cultural features to international friends via traditional crafts and their products like the making of puppets, fried flowers, and batik fabric paintings.
Huynh Vinh Ai, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said Viet Nam and Thailand have coordinateed to organise many activities marking the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties, including the Thai Culture Days in Viet Nam and the Vietnamese Cultural Days in Thailand.
This exhibition will contribute to the success of the “Thai Culture Days” programme” in Viet Nam in 2016, he said.
The event is taking place at the Centre for Vietnamese Culture and Art at No 2 Hoa Lu, Hai Ba Trung Street, Ha Noi, until August 1.
