Update: Aug 22, 2016
The Association of Fine Arts of Ho Chi Minh city kicked off an exhibition for new art works at art camps in 2016 on August 20 at the Ho Chi Minh city Museum of Fine Art. This is part of the activities to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and the National Day (September 2).

The fortnight exhibition displays 210 paintings and statues created by more than 200 artists. The works are in different themes: the people, natural landscapes, everyday life, and more.

At the opening ceremony, the jury announced the prize-winning works, including eight A prizes, 13 B prizes, and 13 C prizes, and presented prizes to 15 most outstanding works by young artists.

The prize-winning works will be published in a book collection “New art works of 2016.”
