Ca Mau seeks solutions for lackluster tourism sector

The southernmost province of Ca Mau has drafted seven major tasks and solutions for its slow-growing tourism sector towards the goal of drawing 1.7 million tourists, including 50,000 foreign visitors by 2020.

The provincial authorities instructed departments and sectors to coordinate in developing tourism products, revise and draft development plans for tourist sites and destinations in line with the development plans of the province and the tourism sector to 2020 with a vision to 2030.

Besides, Ca Mau pushes ahead with administrative reform to create a more favorable environment for investors.

The province plans to invest in key destinations of cultural and historical interests along with ecotourism sites.
