Viet Nam’s first-ever truck driving tournament is taking place at the Dong Mo Culture and Tourism Village in Ha Noi on March 10-11.
The tournament, ASEAN International Trucks Invitational, is an opportunity to introduce this new and exciting sport to Vietnamese audiences, to help drivers from ASEAN countries exchange experience and ultimately to promote the image of the country and people of Viet Nam, said the event organiser.
Eight experienced drivers with a minimum requirement of 5-year truck driving experience from Viet Nam, Singapore and Brunei will compete as four teams in categories that highlight safe and fuel-efficient driving.
