(TITC) - International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE – HCMC) is an annual tourism event organized by People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in collaboration with Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This year’s expo will take place from 7 to 9 September in Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre (SECC), District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

ITE – HCMC 2017 focuses on introducing some tourism products such as leisure tourism, high-end tourism, MICE tourism, sports tourism, medical and health tourism, education tourism, cultural tourism (heritage connection); at the same time strengthening connection between investors and MICE tourism projects in Ho Chi Minh City and also Viet Nam. Besides, this year’s expo also enhances propaganda and promotion of some policies on tourism, including visa exemption, electronic visa, tourism law, etc.
Accordingly, in the framework of ITE – HCM 2017, there will be many conferences and seminars on tourism, including seminar on introducing destinations of Viet Nam for buyers and international press, seminar on MICE tourism development in Ho Chi Minh City, seminar on introducing source markets of Viet Nam, conference on tourism investment promotion, etc. Many attractive activities will be also held such as promotional programs of airlines and tourism enterprises, photo exhibition on Viet Nam and ASEAN’s tourism, film festival to introduce destinations of Ho Chi Minh City, etc.
Especially, at this year’s expo, Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism will install a large LED screen showing the special images of Viet Nam tourism.
After 12 years of organization, ITE - HCMC has become a national tourism event and is towards being a travel expo with regional scale, contributes to promoting the image of Viet Nam’s country and people to international visitors.
