A Vietnamese - Korean cultural festival set for Ho Chi Minh City this autumnis gearing up for another extravaganza of free cultural delights, showcasing the diversity, multiculturalism and integration between the two countries peoples.
The event will take place Nov. 9 - Dec. 3 at venues located throughout the HCM City metropolitan area.
The family oriented event will feature traditional Vietnamese and Korean song and dance in tandem with a plethora of art and cinema performances, exhibitions, culture exchanges, food events, in addition to a bevy of commercial trade and investment activities.
Lee Dong Woo from the city of Gyeongju in the Republic of Korea will be leading the Korean contingent and closer to home there'll be the HCM City People’s Committee for the jointly organized event titled HCM City-Gyeongju Cultural Festival 2017.
At a planning meeting held in HCM City today, July 20, the management board for the organizers announced that integration and multiculturalism are at the heart of the festival and the event.
The event has been gaining in strength each year, they said, and this year’s happening is expected to be the biggest and most extravagant yet - for which they expect hundreds of thousands to attend.
