Dak Lak provincial Museum offers free entry on National Day

The Central Highlands Dak Lak provincial Museum will open free for visitors on National Day (September 2nd) to mark its 40th founding anniversary.

The museum will organize diverse activities such as a photo exhibition on the development of the museum, performances of traditional handicrafts and folk games for children, and a showroom on the prehistoric archaeology of Dak Lak.

Since the inauguration of new building in 2011, it has welcomed more than 300,000 people, including 3,000 foreign visitors, some of them are senior leaders of nations and international organizations. The museum published five books and scientific research papers on specialized magazines. Over the past years, the museum has constantly promoted international cooperation.

By keeping and displaying several specific and unique objects such as the largest coffee cup and filter, the cup of mother carrying baby, it represents local people and land in Dak Lak province in particular, and the Central Highlands in general, creating a deep impression among visitors.
