Mid-Autumn Festival 2017 at Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology

Under the theme “The Colors of Dong Thap's Culture”, the Mid-Autumn Festival 2017 at the Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology will take place on September 30th and October 1st at Nguyen Van Huyen Street, Cau Giay District, Ha Noi.

The event is expected to draw the participation of many artists from the Southern province of Dong Thap. It will introduce traditional culture, as well as specific characteristics in cultural life of people in the province through chants, local textile weaving techniques, and culinary skills.

The essential activities of the mid-autumn festival - lion dance, playing folk games, making traditional toys, moon-cakes and Vietnamese green rice flakes from the famous Vong village, will be the highlights of the event.

Thanks to the combination of Northern and Southern cultures, these activities will offer participants great opportunities to discover the Vietnamese mid-autumn festival.
