‘Le hoi Lang Sen’ (Sen Village Festival 2018) officially opened in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District, the central province of Nghe An on May 17 as part of activities to mark the 128th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh.
The main activities of the festival include a traditional music festival, a ceremony to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his statue in Vinh City, an incense offering ceremony at Kim Lien Relic site in Nam Dan district, and a youth festival and sports competition.
The highlight of this year's event is a public arts festival drawing the participation of 20 of the province’s mass art troupes.
The Sen Village Festival offers an opportunity for international friends and visitors from across the country to learn more about the life and political career of President Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s preeminent hero and a world cultural celebrity.
It also helps Nghe An to promote the beauty of its natural landscapes and local people together with its rich culture.
