The Deutschland-Fest 2018: German experiences in Ha Noi will take place at the area of Ly Thai To Statue, Hoan Kiem district, Ha Noi on November 2-3, said German Ambassador to Viet Nam Christian Berger at a press conference on October 30.

The fest is introduced by German agencies, organisations and companies under the sponsoring of the German Embassy in Viet Nam and the Goethe Institute.
The festival will feature a wide range of activities, including a look into the Bundesliga championship, a beer fest entitled “Brothers Grimmm Bia”, a fashion show by Van Laack Company, and activities for children and teenagers.
Photos of the Buddy Bears project and diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and Germany will be on display, together with Jazz performances and screening of films on German culture and tourism.
There will be 32 booths of German organisations and companies in Viet Nam, and activities mentioning environmental protection, economic cooperation between Germany and Viet Nam, German language teaching in Viet Nam, tertiary and vocational training programmes in Germany, and Germany-Viet Nam collaboration in archeology and cultural conservation.
Ambassador Christian Berger stressed that the fest is a chance for Vietnamese people and tourists to understand more about Germany and show their attention to the European country with long history.
Notably, on the evening of November 3, people in the capital city will enjoy performances by Isolation Berlin, a famous Pop-Rock band in Germany, and Vietnamese artists.
