A display of costumes and jewelries of ethnic groups in the Mekong Delta was launched in Vinh Long province on November 21.
Over 350 photos and items feature festival and daily costumes made from silk and fabric, as well as meticulously-made gold, silver and ivory rings, bracelets, earrings, and others.
Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Xuan Hoanh said the Mekong Delta is home to ethnic groups such as Viet, Khmer, Hoa and Cham.
The event, which will last till March 30, 2019, is expected to offer the public an insight into the value of traditional cultural heritages of the regional ethnic groups.
It is co-organised by Vinh Long, Can Tho and An Giang museums.
