According to Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh, Covid-19 has been controlled successfully in Viet Nam, but the Viet Nam tourism industry is still and will continue to face many difficulties. In order to stimulate domestic tourism demand in the new normal context after Covid-19 epidemic, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has launched the program “Vietnamese to travel Vietnam”. The conference “Golden time to discover Vietnamese beauty” was take place on 16 May, with more than 700 delegates from localities, airlines, travel businesses, hotels, travel associations... create media buzz and attract the public's attention to domestic tourism stimulus programs. At the conference, many analysis and solutions were presented by localities, businesses and experts to contribute to the recovery of the domestic tourism market.
However, according to the Chairman, in order to foster Vietnam's tourism recovery, there is still a lot to do. For domestic tourism market, it is necessary to enhance synchronous connection between localities, destinations, airlines, travel agencies, hotel chains, entertainment services. to make the domestic stimulus programs really effective. The Chairman said that this is the time large corporations and enterprises should actively play the role of leading the market to stimulate domestic tourism by offering attractive product packages at preferential prices. The cooperation of large enterprises in the tourism industry will certainly create a stronger and more effective push, contributing to orientation and recovery of the domestic tourism market in the coming time.
The Chairman suggested that, for international market, delegates would share their opinions and propose solutions to implement the above proposal; discussing the most effective preparation, roadmap and approach to international markets; First of all, prepare to welcome international visitors from high growth markets such as China, South Korea, Taiwan, as well as some markets such as Australia, New Zealand...
At the same time, Chairman Nguyen Trung Khanh suggested businesses, corporations, partners and stakeholders to propose to the Government to direct relevant ministries and agencies such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Security, Transport, Health... to jointly push the recovery of international tourism market when the Government permits.
