Hoi An ancient town and My Son sanctuary officially open to visitors

Two world cultural heritages in the central province of Quang Nam, including Hoi An ancient town and My Son sanctuary, officially opened to visitors on November 15.

Accordingly, the roadmap for welcoming visitors to Quang Nam province will be implemented under three phases.

Under the first phase, from November 15-30, tourism activities will be reopened at My Son sanctuary, Hoi An ancient town, Tra Que vegetable village, Thanh Ha pottery village, Bay Mau coconut forest and Cu Lao Cham island.

During the second phase, from November 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022, the above destinations will maintain welcoming tourists.

The third phase will begin in January 2022 with an expanded scale of tourism activities. Tourists are encouraged to purchase combo packages, associated with strict COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

According to the Chairman of Hoi An city People’s Committee, Nguyen Van Son, said that the city decided to offer a 50% discount off entrance fees to the ancient town, traditional trade villages, Bay Mau coconut forest and Cu Lao Cham island.

On the other hand, all workers at the tourist attractions in Hoi An and the establishments engaged in providing tourism services were vaccinated with a full dose against COVID.

The management board of My Son sanctuary has also developed many unique and attractive events to serve tourists.
