VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu attended the Meet Europe 2021 event

(TITC) - On November 25, 2021, in Hanoi, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam coordinated with the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham) to organize the event Meet Europe 2021: EU - Vietnam Partnership Post-COVID and the 2021 Whitebook Launch. Mr.Ha Van Sieu, Vice Chairman of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism attended the event.

The event attracted the participations of the leaders of ministries, departments, sectors and the businesses to discuss how the Government and the private sector can work together to promote EU-Vietnam trade and investment in the "new normal" post-pandemic.

At the event, the delegates assessed the cooperation process between Europe and Vietnam, the prospects for promoting cooperation between the two sides. The event is also an opportunity to connect and cooperate between Vietnamese localities and European partners in potential fields such as commercial investment, clean energy, smart cities, agriculture, fisheries, infrastructure, logistics, production and manufacturing, healthcare - pharmacy and tourism.

Within the framework of the event, the delegates witnessed the launch of the 13th edition of the EuroCham 2021 Whitebook, EuroCham's annual publication gathering opinions and suggestions of more than 1,200 member businesses.

In this year's edition of the Whitebook, 18 sector committees collected their expertise and operational experience to provide practical suggestions for the trade and investment environment in Vietnam. 

These issues were discussed through 3 thematic dialogue sessions: Community health care; trade and service suggestions; and sustainable development and economic recovery.
