Hundreds of traditional folk paintings from famous villages across Vietnam, along with renowned traditional crafts of Hue, have come together by the banks of the Perfume River.
The event, organized by Hue Fine Arts Museum, opened on the afternoon of April 14th at Diem Phung Thi Art Foundation on Le Loi Street, Hue City, next to the Perfume River.
Attending the event were Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Phan Ngoc Tho, along with artists and cultural enthusiasts.
Hundreds of representative artworks from famous folk painting genres such as Dong Ho (Bac Ninh), Hang Trong, Kim Hoan (Ha Noi) and paintings from Sinh village of Hue have been displayed and exhibited.
In addition to the painting exhibition, there are also spaces showcasing traditional crafts of Hue, such as conical hat crafting, Zeng weaving, paper flower making, wood carving, and kite making.
The event will last until April 23.
