The U.S. Golf magazine named four golf resorts in Viet Nam among the world's Top 100 during the 2024-2025 period in its latest rankings.
Ba Na Hills Golf Club in Da Nang city
They are Laguna Golf Lang Co in the central province of Thua Thien Hue, Ba Na Hills Golf Club in the central city of Da Nang, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip in the southern province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau, and FLC Halong Bay GC & Luxury Resort in the northern province of Quang Ninh.
The four also made Asia's list of 11 best golf resorts, of which Ba Na Hills Golf Club was ranked first. It was also ranked as the top golf resort in Asia.
Tipping out at 7,858 yards, Ba Na Hills bucks and rolls along the base of mountains and is situated 30 minutes from the coastal city of Da Nang where golf has boomed over recent years.
American magazine commented that this place "has a quiet space like a refuge, separate and contrasting with the bustle of Da Nang".
In the top 11 in Asia, The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip ranked 3rd, FLC Halong Bay GC & Luxury Resort 5th and Laguna Golf Lang Co 6th.
U.S. magazine Golf also highlighted The Bluffs Grand Ho Tram Strip in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province. The course, which is Norman's second design in the nation, is the first golf resort in the country to be integrated with a casino, which sits a shuttle-ride away on a bustling beach-side strip.
FLC Ha Long Bay GC & Luxury Resort in Ha Long City was also recommended as another golf resort from the country to feature in the Asian 2024 to 2025 list.
The course is something of a spectacle, too, winding through verdant, pine-studded terrain with an inventive routing that features four par-3s in a five-hole stretch and water views on all 18 holes.
The publication introduced Laguna Golf Lang Co in Thua Thien Hue province as the final golf destination of Vietnam in the list. Completed in 2013, Laguna Golf Lang Co is the centerpiece of a sprawling resort complex in Central Viet Nam, tucked between steep mountains and white sand beaches.
It's characterized largely by rolling sand dunes, natural streams, and warm breezes along the East Sea.
The Top 100 were voted by the world's leading golf experts as a suggestion for tourists passionate about this subject to choose for their upcoming trip. Voting criteria are based on ease of access, beautiful space, amenities, unique experiences outside of golf, and staff professionalism./.
