(TITC) - In December 2023, Ho Chi Minh City has announced lists introducing 100 interesting things divided into 10 categories . And here is the list of the 10 interesting tourist spots not to be missed in Ho Chi Minh City.

Located in 206/19/30 Long Thuan Street, Long Phuoc Ward, District 9 - Ao dai Museum is one of the 10 interesting tourist spots in Ho Chi Minh City and the only museum of Vietnam that the stories of the Vietnamese Ao dai throughout history have been preserved and honored. This is a unique project that preserves many documents and artefacts about the traditional costumes of the Vietnamese people, imbued with cultural values and the soul of Vietnamese women ao dai.
The Museum is about a 30-minute drive from Ho Chi Minh City centre. The location owns a peaceful, green space in the middle of bustling Ho Chi Minh City, covered in the green of nature and the nostalgia of ethnic architecture.

Located at No. 28 Vo Van Tan Street (Vo Thi Sau Ward, District 3) - It is the unique museum in Vietnam to systematically study, collect, conserve and display exhibits on war crimes and consequences inflicted on the Vietnamese people by foreign aggressive forces.
The War Remnants Museum is a member of the International Network of Museums for Peace (INMP) and the International Council of Museums (ICOM). This place collects, stores, preserves, and displays documents, images, and artefacts to portray the devastating consequences of the war in Vietnam. At the same time, the museum also conveys the message of the fighting spirit, the struggle to protect national independence and freedom and the preciousness of peace and friendship between peoples.
The History Museum of Ho Chi Minh City

Located at No. 2 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1. The History Museum building is an ancient architecture built by the French nearly a century ago (in 1929) with typical "innovative Indochina" style. The collections at the Museum represent thousands of years of Vietnamese history and culture, learning about the cultural characteristics of the Southern region and some countries in the Asian region. The Museum's selected collection of over 43,000 documents and artefacts, including 12 national treasures introduced in the galleries, will be invaluable gifts of historical and cultural knowledge.
Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts

Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts was established in 1987 and officially goes into operation in 1991. The museum is considered an interesting place to discover fine arts in the city, because of the famous French Baroque architectural style of the early 20th century - a magnificent and somewhat beautiful appearance from the Unique interference between the architectural beauty of the East and the West.
Independence Palace
Located at 135 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia (Ben Thanh Ward, District 1), Independence Palace is a particularly important piece of historical evidence, where many major historical events took place and witnessed, directly affecting the historical process of Vietnam.
Independence Palace was ranked as a special national monument. This place has witnessed many historical events, ups and downs of the country, especially the liberation of the South and reunification of the country on April 30, 1975.

Located at 720A Dien Bien Phu (Ward 22, Binh Thanh District) - Landmark 81 is inspired by the image of a traditional bamboo bundle and is recognized as the tallest tower in Vietnam until now.
Here, Ho Chi Minh City residents and tourists have the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of the city from a height of 461,2 metres through a transparent glass system, helping visitors see with their own eyes and capture rare moments of the city from above.
Thieng Lieng community tourist destination
Thieng Lieng is a hamlet located deep in Thanh An island commune (Can Gio District) and is widely known as a community tourism destination with many unique features, bringing interesting experiences to tourists. Thieng Lieng Hamlet has Giong Chua mountain, the only rocky mountain in Ho Chi Minh City, with vast, white salt fields... and especially no dust, no bus station, no social evils.
At the end of December 2022, Thieng Lieng Hamlet was announced by Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and Can Gio District People's Committee as the first community tourism product of Ho Chi Minh City.
Saigon Ranger Monument System
The house at 287/70 Nguyen Dinh Chieu, located on the alley connecting Nguyen Dinh Chieu and Vo Van Tan streets (District 3), becomes the “red address” mark the victory of the Saigon rangers - Historical evidence in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. This place has a secret basement that once hid nearly 2 tons of weapons of the Saigon Rangers to attack the Reunification Palace during the 1968 Tet Offensive. the house is recognized as a National Historical-Cultural Monument.
The Saigon Ranger Monument System also includes relic sites such as: Museum of Intelligence - Saigon - Gia Dinh Rangers, Secret mailboxes and floating bunkers of the Saigon Rangers, Secret weapons bunkers of the Saigon Rangers... located right in the heart of the city.
Cu Chi Tunnels
Located on Provincial Road 15 (Phu Hiep hamlet, Phu My Hung commune, Cu Chi district), about 70 km from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City to the northwest - Cu Chi Tunnels is a miniature place of transformation and creativity of the army and people of Cu Chi in the long and fierce resistance war for 30 years against invaders, to win independence and freedom for the Fatherland. Cu Chi Tunnels entered the history of the heroic struggle of the Vietnamese people as a legend of the 20th century and became a famous landmark in the world. Cu Chi Tunnels is considered as an unique war-fighting wonder with about 250 km of tunnels spreading like spider webs in the ground: trenches, emplacements, fighting nests, bunkers for dining, sleeping, meetings, activities, military medicine, food storage warehouses, wells, Hoang Cam kitchen…
Cu Chi Tunnels is one of the famous national monuments in Ho Chi Minh City - a place to experience exploring the "underground maze".
Notre Dame Cathedral - City Post Office

Located at 1 Cong Xa Paris (District 1) - Notre Dame Cathedral (official name is the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception) is the largest and most unique church in Ho Chi Minh City - one of the unique architectural works with two 60 m high bell towers. Notre Dame Cathedral was built on 7th October 1877. This is one of the unique religious architectural works that attracts the most visitors in the city.

Located at No. 2 Cong Xa Paris (District 1) - Ho Chi Minh City Central Post Office is next to Notre Dame Cathedral and near Diamond Plaza Shopping Center - an attractive tourist area for tourists when coming to the City.
The building was built by the French between 1886 and 1891, with a unique Gothic architectural style according to the design project of Architect Villedieu and his assistant Foulhoux. The project is ranked second in the list of 11 most beautiful post offices in the world voted by the American architectural magazine Architectural Digest.
