Conde Nast Traveller calls InterContinental Asiana Saigon
Update: May 10, 2010
The newest five-star hotel in HCMC, InterContinental Asiana Saigon, has been voted on to Conde Nast Traveller’s exclusive Hot List covering the 134 hottest hotels around the globe.

The hotel on the corner of Le Duan Boulevard and Hai Ba Trung Street is praised for its minimalist interior, attention to business-traveler-detail and local flair, as well as its positioning as part of the “bold modernization” of contemporary HCMC.

Applause is also given to the hotel’s use of fresh local flowers, striking tube lamps in the lobby and muted décor accented by local touches ranging from color palettes through to the bamboo sliding doors.

In addition to 305 rooms, the mid-town hotel also has fine dining at Chinese restaurant Yu Chu, international restaurant Market 39 and signature bar and lounge Purple Jade, spa and gym areas, a 600-seat ballroom, meeting rooms and an outdoor pool.

InterContinental Hotels Group opened its second luxury hotel in Vietnam less than two years after the first in Hanoi. The InterContinental Hanoi Westlake appeared on the Hot List in 2008.
