Folk music and dance of the Republic of Korea (RoK) was introduced to Hanoian audience on the night of June 3.

The event is jointly held by the RoK Cultural Centre in Vietnam and the Folk Music Academy of Busan City.

The performance featured RoK special traditional arts, including drum dancing jangguchum, fan dacing (bucaechum) and aged-old folk songs.

The Busan Folk Music Academy art troupe will represent the RoK in a traditional Hanbok dress performance at the “Oriental night” of the Hue Festival 2010, which is to take place from June 5-13.
