Vietnam tourism - culture festival to be held in RoK
Update: Jun 28, 2013
A wide variety of tourism and cultural activities are scheduled during the 2013 Vietnam Tourism - Culture Festival in the Republic of Korea (RoK) from July 1-6.

The highlight of the festival will be an arts programme featuring traditional and contemporary Vietnamese music and dance.

An exhibition entitled "Vietnam - Endless Beauty" showcasing pictures of Vietnam and its people, as well as the country's traditional costumes, cuisine and handicrafts, will also be organised during the festival, as well as a seminar introducing Vietnamese tourism.

Vietnam has welcomed around 700,000 tourists from the RoK every year and recently about 100,000 Vietnamese people have been visiting the RoK each year.  There are currently 10 direct flights between Vietnam and the RoK every week, which presents a good opportunity for the tourism sectors of both countries to promote co-operation.
