(TITC) - With the theme "The Rendezvous of the Red River's Quintessential Traditional Craft Villages Festival", the traditional craft villages' tourism festival of Ha Noi and other provinces in the Red River Delta will take place from 9th -12th Oct. 2013 in Ha Noi.
According to the Ha Noi's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there will be over 400 booths introducing tourism programs, products, souvenirs as well as cuisine of Ha Noi and the provinces in the Red River Delta at the festival.
In the festival, the Ha Noi People's Committee will hold a seminar on "Current situation and solutions for developing tourism at traditional craft villages and craft streets of Ha Noi" with the attendance of scientists, managers, craftsmen, travel agents and int'l organizations in Viet Nam...
Many activities will be held at the festival such as water puppetry, ground puppetry, calligraphy, Ca Tru singing; introducing local tourist products, city tours; honoring typical traditional craft villages.
As a part of the National Tourism Year 2013, the traditional craft villages' tourism festival of Ha Noi and other provinces in the Red River Delta aims to honor, preserve and develop traditional craft villages, contribute to promote the image of Ha Noi tourism.
