Promoting community-based tourism in Hoa Binh

(TITC) - HG Travel Co.,Ltd has just coordinated with the Center for Environment and Communities Asset Development (CECAD) to hold a program on promoting community-based ecotourism in Thanh Hoi and Tu Ne communes (Tan Lac District, Hoa Binh).

This program is part of the project of restoration and preservation Muong ethnic culture through community-based ecotourism and CECAD's improving poor capacity program in Thanh Hoi and Tu Ne communes.

Located about 100km from Ha Noi, Thanh Hoi and Tu Ne communes are considered as the cradle of ancient Muong culture (famous for Muong traditional stilt houses, folk festivities, traditional costumes, medicinal plants...), with many historical sites and scenic spots actracting tourists.

Tu Ne Commune is operating 4 traditional stilt houses serving homestay services with ful equipment while being friendly with environment.

Currently, HG Travel is offering ecotours to Tu Ne-Thanh Hoi (2 days 1 night). Visiting here, tourists will have chance to experience daily living and taste traditional special foods with local ethnic communities.
