The International Grapes and Wine Festival - Ninh Thuan 2014 to come

(TITC) - Under the theme “Wine and grape - Attractive tourism product”, the International Grapes and Wine Festival - Ninh Thuan 2014 will take place from 17-19 July 2014 in Ninh Thuan Province.

The event, held by Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Ninh Thuan People’s Committee, aims to promote economic potential of grapes and products which are made from grapes. 

Grape is considered a specialty of Ninh Thuan with output between 60,000 – 65,000 tons a year. Many vineyards are significantly contributing to the development of eco-tourism in the province, satisfying tourists’ demand of natural experience. 

On 17 July 2014, the opening ceremony will include cars parade, boat racing, street music, exhibition and photography award, art performance and fireworks. 

In addition, in the framework of the festival, there will be many activities taking place such as: int’l tourism and trade fair 2014 with more than 100 booths to introduce domestic and int’l (France, Chile, Argentina, Australia, Hungary, Rumania and Germany) products made from grapes; cuisine and kite-flying contests; seminar on “Ninh Thuan grapes- Jade in stone” to guide farmers to earn highest benefits from grapes and to help them to plant grapes with the best methods; performance of planting, harvesting and producing wine and grape products… 

The International Grapes and Wine Festival 2014 will also be a chance for domestic and int’l investors to meet, exchange and look for business and investment opportunities.
