A festival aiming to honour Central Highlands cuisine was held in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province on July 22-23 by the Business, Studies and Assistance Centre (BSA) and Minh Long Company.
The festival is featuring unique foods with special flavours from five Central Highlands provinces.
Under the framework of the festival, the organising board also held a workshop to highlight the value of Vietnamese cuisine in general and Central Highlands cuisine in particular. Participants at the workshop also discussed solutions to promote Viet Nam tourism.
The festival is one of the events held during the 2014 Central Highlands-Da Lat National Tourism Year.
The 2014 National Tourism Year offers a chance to help domestic and foreign businesses operating in the tourism sector to step up their co-operation and effectively exploit the tourism potential of each locality in the region – Lam Dong, Dak Nong, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Kon Tum provinces.
