The ASEAN great unity week themed ‘One Vision, One Identity, One Community’ is scheduled to take place at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Ha Noi from November 18-23, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST).
The week will feature unique cultural and art performances by ethnic artists from across the ASEAN region.
Viet Nam’s cultural heritage will be revived during the week-long event, including Ca Tru (ceremonial singing), Quan Ho (traditional love duet singing) and a gong performance from the Central Highlands region.
The event, jointly organised by the MCST and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee, is expected to create a good opportunity to honour the exemplary artistic values of each culture of the Southeast Asian countries, while helping Viet Nam promote the rich cultural diversity of its 54 ethnic groups.
