Traditional handicraft fair at Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology

A traditional handicraft fair will take place at the Viet Nam Museum of Ethnology in Ha Noi from 9am to 4pm on November 22.

The event aims to preserve traditional culture; help handicraft producers increase more income and develop sustainable through finding market for their products; improve people’s awareness of cultural and economic values of Vietnamese traditional handicrafts.

During the fair, ethnic minority groups, groups from traditional villages and groups of the disabled from different regions nationwide will display and sell their hand-made traditional handicraft products.

It will be an opportunity for producers to study trends of market and customers and also an opportunity for visitors to meet producers and understand more about traditional culture of ethnic minority groups and traditional villages.

In addition, traditional art performances, folklore games and diverse outdoor interesting activities will be held during the fair.
