(TITC) - To prepare for activities of Viet Nam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) in Viet Nam International Travel Mart VITM – Ha Noi 2015, on 4 March 2015, in Ha Noi, VNAT organized a meeting to consent VNAT’s booth design and organization in the mart.

The meeting had the presences of Deputy Director General of VNAT Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director of Tourism Marketing Department (VNAT) Le Tuan Anh, General Secretary of Viet Nam Tourism Association Tran Quang Hao, Director of EU Project Vu Quoc Tri and representatives of some departments, functional units of VNAT.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Director General Nguyen Quoc Hung said, VITM Ha Noi 2015 focuses on introducing natural and cultural heritage of Viet Nam recognized by UNESCO and attractive tourist sites. As a professional tourism fair with international scale, VITM Ha Noi 2015 is the opportunity to enhance Viet Nam tourism brand promotion with logo and slogan “Viet Nam – Timeless charm” and 4 main product groups, including sea-island tourism, cultural tourism, eco-tourism and city tour. At the same time, the mart is also the chance to introduce National Tourism Year - Thanh Hoa 2015 with the theme "Connecting World Heritage" and crreate many cooperation and investment opportunities for domestic and international businesses.
At the mart, Viet Nam tourism’s 90m²-booth build by VNAT with the theme “Common house of Viet Nam tourism” will be the place to organize communication activities of Viet Nam tourism; introduce research results on source markets of Viet Nam; orient tourism enterprises and localities in tourism product development and promotion in accordance with preferences of each market; trade and tourism promotion activities…
During VITM 2015 Ha Noi, many tourism conferences, workshops, forums will also be held such as: “Natural and cultural heritage – endless resource of Viet Nam tourism”; “Develop domestic tourism, the most important factor to make tourism into a key economic sector of Viet Nam”; “Viet Nam outbound tourism, the current status and development orientation”; “trends of Viet Nam inbound tourism in the current context”. Besides, destination promotion, introductions of traditional culture and cuisine, exhibitions, direct provision of tourism products to visitors are also the outstanding activities of this year’s mart.
VITM Ha Noi is the biggest international travel fair in Viet Nam and has become a trademark of Ha Noi tourism and also Viet Nam tourism. Following the success of VITM Ha Noi 2013 and 2014, Viet Nam Tourism Association in collaboration with VNAT, EU Project, Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize the 3rd Viet Nam International Travel Mart (VITM Ha Noi 2015) with the theme “Viet Nam – The country of Heritage” from 3 to 6 April 2015 in Viet Nam Exhibition Fair Centre (VEFAC), 148 Giang Vo Street, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi.
According to the organization board, the preparation for the mart was essentially complete. This year’s mart is expected to have nearly 600 booths of tourism enterprises from 22 countries and territories, attracting more than 65,000 visitors.
