Sen village singing celebrates 125th anniversary of Uncle Ho’s birth

A mass performance of Sen Village singing 2015 will take place in Vinh City in the central city of Nghe An, from May 16th to 19th.

The event will be organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with Nghe An provincial People’s Committee as an activity in the framework of Sen village festival 2015 and celebration of the 125th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birth.

It will draw the participation of 25 artistic troupes from provinces and cities nationwide.

The festival will include diverse cultural activities such as flower offerings at Uncle Ho’s statue in Ho Chi Minh square, a parade to Uncle Ho’s homeland, an incense offering to Uncle Ho at his memorial at the Kim Lien relic site, film screenings about the life of Uncle Ho and exchanges with artists and film makers at Vinh University and in Nam Dan district, an exhibition on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.
