At the meeting, Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh Ai highly valued cooperation relation between Viet Nam and Kazakhstan in recent years. In the field of culture, Viet Nam organized many cultural activities and unique art performance programs in Kazakhstan. In terms of tourism, according to the agreement on tourism cooperation signed on October 31, 2011 between Viet Nam and Kazakhstan, two countries focused on boosting tourist exchange, facilitating cooperation between Vietnamese and Kazakhstanese tourism enterprises, enhancing information exchange and investment. To strengthen cooperation in the coming time, Deputy Minister Huynh Vinh Ai proposed the two sides should further intensify tourist exchange, actively implement cooperation agreement on culture and sports signed in May 2015 between Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Viet Nam and Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, support each other in participating in annual international tourism fairs of each country, etc.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan emphasized the warm relationship between Viet Nam and Kazakhstan. He also invited Viet Nam to attend EXPO 2017 to be held in Astana, Kazakhstan. At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed that the signing ceremony of cooperation agreement between a Kazakhstanese tourism enterprise and Saigontourist would be held on July 30 considered a motivation to foster tourism development of two countries.
