This programme is a key activity in Quang Ninh’s 2025 international tourism promotion campaign, aiming to connect the Quang Ninh (Viet Nam) market with RoK’s outbound travel business community, thereby expanding bilateral cooperation potential and enhancing the presence of Vietnamese tourism in one of Asia’s key markets.

With the core message “One destination - Two heritages,” the event introduced Quang Ninh as a destination home to two UNESCO-recognised world heritages: Ha Long Bay - a World Natural Heritage site of extraordinary landscapes, and Yen Tu - a distinctive spiritual cultural heritage associated with the Truc Lam Zen school, a symbol of profound Eastern cultural values. These two heritage pillars define Quang Ninh’s unique identity, offering visitors not only majestic natural scenery but also a journey into Viet Nam’s spiritual and cultural richness.

In addition, Quang Ninh presented a range of new, more diverse tourism products during the promotion event, notably including a culinary and performance show held inside Ngoc Rong Cave - a terrestrial cave opened to visitors since June 2025.

Speaking at the event, Ninh Van Thuong, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, emphasised that the Republic of Korea is identified as a key international tourism market in the province’s development strategy. In 2024, Korean visitor arrivals to Quang Ninh reached 184,818; in the first half of 2025 alone, the figure stood at 88,795, ranking second among international visitors staying in the province.

Nguyen Quang Son, representative from GTDO, shared the reason for choosing Quang Ninh as a featured destination in their promotional campaign. According to him, Quang Ninh is known not only for globally recognised icons such as Ha Long Bay, Yen Tu, and Bai Tu Long Bay, but also for innovation through new services including cuisine and artistic experiences in Ngoc Rong Cave, wellness retreats in Quang Hanh, and marine - island eco-tourism. With modern infrastructure including Van Don International Airport and high-end resorts, Quang Ninh is well-positioned to welcome international visitors and strategic partners, including those from the Republic of Korea.

Within the framework of the event, vibrant business-to-business (B2B) networking activities were held, attracting over 200 outbound Korean travel companies and tour organisers, alongside prominent Quang Ninh tourism and accommodation businesses.

Participating Quang Ninh companies showcased a wide range of high-quality products and services, such as five-star overnight cruises on Ha Long Bay; meditation and spiritual health care experiences at Legacy Yen Tu - MGallery; international-standard hotel chains offering resort, entertainment, and MICE services; and travel packages combining golf, relaxation, and cultural exploration for the Korean market.
