A French amateur artist, Jean-Pierre Tissier, is showcasing more than 100 photos of Vietnamese’s daily lives at an exhibition, set to last until January 15, 2010, in his home city of Paris.

His photos depict the Vietnamese in various walks of life from traditional to modern aspects, urban to rural areas.
“I have been to Vietnam since 2005 and return there yearly. I love the country as Vietnamese are friendly, hospitable and interested in taking photosâ€, he said.
He also suggested that photographers should visit Vietnam if they want to have excellent works.
Jean-Pierre Tissier is seeking donors to publish his tourism books aimed to draw readers’ attention to Vietnam through photos.
