Vietnam’s photo exhibition opens in Cairo

A photo exhibition on the Vietnamese land and people opened in Cairo on February 9. Exhibits including photos and documents on President Ho Chi Minh and traditional costumes and folk paintings are on display.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Pham Si Tam said that the exhibition aims to introduce the country’s economic, political achievements, as well as the beauty of its culture and life to Egyptian people.

He noted that Vietnam’s rapid development in recent years has attracted the interest of the international community.

Visitors to the exhibition will also have chances to taste some Vietnamese foods and enjoy art performances by Vietnamese students, who studying in Egypt.

The event will run until February 24.
