The Vietnamese Embassy, in coordination with the Embassies of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Asian Cultural Network (ACN), organised the fourth ASEAN Bazaar and Tourism Exhibition in Kuwait on February 27.
The event took place over a week in commemoration of Kuwait’s Independence Day (February 25).
In Vietnam’s stall, visitors had opportunities to contemplate the nation and buy Vietnam’s traditional products such as lacquer objects, embroidery paintings, pottery and porcelain and national clothing.
Under the framework of the exhibition, the Vietnamese Embassy’s staff and some Vietnamese living and working in Kuwait performed traditional songs with national dress and dances, attracting large audiences.
With many programmes to advertise and introduce Vietnamese tourism, visitors learned more about the country’s landscape and people. Many visitors considered Vietnam an attractive destination for tourism and wished a chance to visit the country.
