The Fifth National Tourism Artistic Photo Contest “Vietnam My Homeland†was launched from October 22nd, 2009 to the end of May 31st, 2010 by the Vietnam Tourism Review on the occasion of 50 year anniversary of Vietnam tourism (July 9th, 1960 – July 9th, 2010), towards the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Ha Noi and the National Tourism Year 2010 in Hanoi.

The Organizing Board received 4,426 color as well as black and white photos, including 121 photo sets of456 authors from 51 provinces and cities across the country. Hanoi recorded the largest number of contestants with 112 authors and 1,568 photos.
The Jury Board has selected 136 nice photos for display at the Fifth National Tourism Artistic Photo Exhibition. Of this number, 17 have selected for awards.
On July 1st 2010, the award presentation and opening ceremony of The Fifth National Tourism Artistic Photo Exhibition “Vietnam My Homeland†will take place at Exhibition House, 29 Hang Bai, Hanoi.
The photo exhibition will last until July 5th, 2010.
