Photo exhibition on Vietnam opens in Germany
Update: Sep 27, 2010
A photo exhibition on Vietnam opened in Wiesbaden, Germany on September 23 under the framework of Vietnam Year in Germany 2010.

The photos were taken by young people from the German State of Hessen during an August visit to Vietnam where they campaigned for environmental protection, participated in cultural exchanges, and called at several Vietnamese charity centres.

At the exhibition’s opening ceremony, Hessen’s Minister of Culture Dorothea Henzler and Vietnamese Consul General in Frankfurt, Nguyen Huu Trang, highlighted youth’s activities in both countries, which have contributed to strengthening international solidarity. The event will run until October 29.

On September 21, the Vietnamese Consul General attended the opening ceremony of another photo exhibition on Vietnam titled “Face to Face” in Duesseldorf.

The Duesseldorf exhibition featuring 50 photos taken by Vietnamese children disabled due to AO/dioxin was organized with the generous support of the Schmitz Fund.
