A special music night was held in Paris on November 8 with the participation of overseas Vietnamese and Vietnamese students living and studying in France as well as international friends.
The two-day event is part of activities to celebrate the 2010-2011 French Army Museum music festival and the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
The event was organized by the 30- member Hop Ca Que Huong band, which was established in 2009. Most of members are Vietnamese students who are studying at different universities in France, post graduates, engineers, civil servants and graduates from the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
