Danang Golf Club hailed among top 15 new courses in the world

Popular golf website, Golf.com, has named Vietnam’s Danang Golf Club in its “Top 10 New International Courses” for 2010.

Opened in May 2010, Danang attracted international media attention for the Dunes Course, a collection of 18 rugged, seaside holes that were designed by golf legend Greg Norman.

 

The golf.com website put Danang’s Golf Club in the honorable mention category, a select group of five that also includes Lost Farm at Barnbougle Dunes in Australia, Baker’s Bay in the Bahamas, Haesley Golf Club in South Korea and Costa Navarino in Greece.


Among the 15 international courses hailed by the online golf channel, only four others are in the Asia – Pacific region, including: Lost Farm; Haesley GC; and The Blackstone Course at Mission Hills Haikou and The West Course at Shenzhou Peninsula (Hainan, China).
