Cultural exhibitions on Ho Chi Minh City’s process of development and integration opened on April 28 in Lam Son Park, Chi Lang Park and Dong Khoi Road.

The event aims to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the National Reunification Day (April 30), May Day (May 1) and the 13th National Assembly (NA) and People’s Council elections for the 2011-2016 term.
In Lam Son Park, over 100 images and documentaries portray the country’s reunification and HCMC’s development in the past 36 years from both political, economical, sports, health, cultural and social aspects.
Meanwhile, in Chi Lang Park, 95 photos show the city’s beautiful landscape, energetic rhythm of life, development of infrastructure, and images of workers, intellectuals and youth.
An exhibition, as part of the “HCMC-100 interesting events†programme, is held on Dong Khoi Road. It tells about the city’s outstanding achievements in economics, science-technology, the establishment of new rural areas, culture, tourism, shopping, food and healthcare.
The exhibitions are open until May 15.
