Photo exhibition about Hanoi by overseas Vietnamese students
Update: Jul 28, 2011
About 100 pictures and paintings by 30 overseas Vietnamese students have gone on display at an exhibition entitled “Vision” being held at the Viet Art Center in Hanoi from July 26th to 28th.

The exhibition, co-organised by Vietnamese students studying overseas, offers visitors different views of daily life from street corners, student life and Vietnamese and international culture.

This is a chance for visitors to recognize life’s beauty through the eyes of the students.

The daughter of Prof. Ngo Bao Chau, Ngo Thanh Hien contributed three works to the exhibition. During her latest visit to Vietnam, she travelled extensively, including Sen and Chua village – the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.

Organizers will hold an auction to sell a photography book with signatures of 25 students and comments by Professor Ngo Bao Chau. All proceeds will go to the supporting center for disabled children in Bac Giang province.
