Nearly 6,000 plants and products will be on display at the flower festivals at Quoc te Square in District 3 and Tao Dan Park in District 1 during the Tet holidays from January 18-28, reports Sai Gon Giai Phong.

The festival also hosts art activities such as don ca tai tu (Southern opera), human chess, children’s games and Vietnamese calligraphy along with information on the city’s achievements. The opening ceremony will be organized under the theme of the East Sea, the nation’s islands and the lotus.
Meanwhile, the city’s districts will hold 56 Tet flower markets, with District 8 arranging its flower market along the embankment of Binh Dong and Phu Dinh ports.
The Tet flower markets last from January 16 (the 23rd day of the 12th Lunar Month) to January 22 next year.
