Xoan singing performance in among schools in Viet Tri city

A Xoan singing performance in the education and training sector in Viet Tri city, the northern province of Phu Tho, has been held to glorify the special art in the province, which has been recognized as a world intangible heritage in need of urgent protection.

According to Pham Ba Khiem, vice director of the northern Phu Tho provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, to continue the restoration and development of Phu Tho xoan singing, apart from bringing it into schools in the province, it is essential to organize Xoan singing performances among troupes and schools.

It will contribute to preservation and promotion of value of Xoan singing.

The performance will draw the participation of 78 schools in Viet Tri city. This will be an opportunity for education workers, teachers and students in the city to exchange and study Xoan singing tunes, contributing to preserving and promoting traditional culture in the homeland and improving the quality of comprehensive education
